The Men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc is celebrating 100 years of leadership, service and love for all mankind. Since it's inception in 1906 we have been pillars in the community. Here in Memphis, TN April 6th - 9th we are hosting the 75th Southern Region convention. The host hotel is the Memphis Marriott. I am going to be STRAIGHT Beta Xi (Bloody) come Friday and Saturday! I'm taking the step boots to get shined...gon break out the frat shirt and BE OUT!!! I think if I take two vitamins a day...that might get me though:-) Memphis..get ready cause the APE's are going to be on the loose.
On another note: My condolences go out to all the other greeks of the Divine Nine, especially the Sigmas. They are having their convention in Memphis as well, the same weekend as ours. I saw one last night and I got the feeling he thought we we in competition with each other. I hate to bust his bubble but uuhhra... There in no competition with Alpha, esp. the Southern Region of Alpha. This is the beginning of a takeover. All year...all you are going to see & hear about is Alpha. And this time the Revolution will be televised. I'll be on channel 3 Weds the 5th:) Until then AAAAAA- Phi!
